2015 FOSCA Board Election Results

Thank you to the residents who participated in the 2015 FOSCA Annual Meeting of the Membership. Over 200 people attended the meeting and 1,112 absentee ballots were received prior to the close of balloting. The 2015 FOSCA Board of Directors consists of:
Larry Shima, President
Dennis Jones, Vice President
Shelia Buchan, Secretary
Mike Powell, Treasurer
Keith Kellen, Director
Jerry Favero, Director
Harry Gibbens, Director

Harry Gibbens (652 votes), and Larry Shima (619) votes were re-elected, Mike Powell (622 votes) was also elected. Candidates Jerry Evavold (593 votes) and Mike Royse (447 votes) rounded out the field of candidates, there were also five write in votes for five different candidates. The ballot proposal regarding approval of the IRS Revenue Ruling 70-604 passed with 941 votes in favor and 29 votes opposed. There were 13 spoiled ballots.
Recycling Information

The recycling bins for paper, cans and plastic have been consolidated behind the Administration Building near the shuffleboard courts. Please do not put the recycle materials in the fenced area on the east side of the building any more.

Crime Free Lease Addendum

Arizona law enables a landlord to file an immediate eviction if a tenant engages in certain types of criminal conduct on the premises. To insure that you can always evict a tenant who engages in criminal activity include a “Crime free” addendum with your lease.
Entrance Wall Replacement Completed
